Climbing in and around  Innsbruck

Climbing is your passion? You are looking for a challenge and want to experience the Alpine mountains up close? Bouldering, sport climbing, alpine multirope routes or family friendly via ferratas - Tyrol will make every climber's heart beat faster.

Outdoor climbing

In the greater area of Innsbruck, more than 450 recommendable climbing routes of all grades of difficulty are waiting to be conquered.

Via ferrata - fixed rope routes

In close vicinity of the capital of the Alps, countless traditional fixed rope routes can be found. I.e. the  Innsbrucker „Panorama“ via ferrata or the „Kaiser Max“ via ferrata.

Indoor climbing

The climbing season starts in spring and ends in autumn. In the winter or in bad weather, the KI climbing centre Innsbruck is always worth a visit. 1,200 squaremeters of climbing area as well as a 1,000 squaremeters bouldering area guarantee fun and challenges.
