Area 47 - outdoor adventure park in Ötztal Bahnhof

The river mouth of the Ötztaler Ache in the Inn river has been presenting one of the most popular and challenging wild water systems of the Alps. There is barely a better spot to create a 6,6 ha adventure park for adrenalin junkies. The ultimate outdoor-Dorado is located exactly at the 47th latitude and therefore called "AREA 47". The area attracts sportspeople from all over the world. You better have a head for heights and a lover for adrenalin! Austria's highest rope garden spans above the wild water. Just below that, there is the highest outdoor climbing wall in the country. The fearless throw themselves from 27 meters per the "Megaswing". Those who want the experience that kick without a free fall should try out the 320 meter "Flying Fox", gliding over the "Water AREA", a 20.000 m² water park for water bugs and the wild at heart. Heroes in neoprene dare the leap from the 15 meter water jump. Get yourselves some ovations from the neighboring Lakeside-Restaurant!

Alpine Coaster Imst

The Alpine Coaster in Hoch-Imst is a great, family friendly attraction. Tyrol's most spectacular summer toboggan run is the best motivation for a family hike up the mountain. If that's too strenuous, take the passenger ropeway and enjoy the view.
Starting at 3 years old, children may join their parents on the coaster. At 8 years and a height of 125 cm, kids can use the Alpine coaster on their own. Spectacular fun on 3,5 km can beenjoyed all year round.

Mountaincarts Mutterer Alm

Ready, steady, GO! Race down the mountain in a mountain cart and leave your friends behind in a cloud of dust! Sounds fun, but dangerous? Don't worry, the tricycles are specifically designed to be safe and feature a dual circuit braking system. Wearing a saftey helmet is self-evident, and even small children can join their parents on the carts. A great summer alternative to winter sledding!
